Youth Basketball:
If you are between the ages of 9 and 17 and want to play basketball in friendly competition, then join our Youth Basketball league. We play games on Friday evenings. Divisions will be broken down into Div 1 (9 – 11), Div 2 (12 – 14), and Div 3 (15 – 17).
- Our next program will begin on January 23rd.
- We will have a mandatory rating clinic. Participants can attend on Friday, January 9th or Saturday, January 10th. Once a participant has signed up, they will receive a call the week of January 5th as a reminder about the clinic.

Flag Football:
Our flag football program gives kids a chance to learn and enhance their skills, while playing their favorite positions in a contact free setting. Games are played on Saturdays in Upland. We have programs for ages 6 through 14, registration permitting.
- Our program started October 18th of 2008.
- Registration for the fall session is currently closed.

Rookies and Winners:
We will be running Basketball for our Rookies and Winners program. The program runs on weekdays at 6:30. Specific days are to be determined. During the program we have the kids do warm-ups, drills, and then play games against each other.
- Our program will start the week of February 9th, 2009.

Red Dragon Karate:
Our Red Dragon Karate program is for youth, age 5 or older, as well as adults. Generally the class is made up of elementary and Jr. High aged children. Instructor Tom Cosgrove, a 7th degree black belt, teaches his style of karate, which emphasizes discipline and defensive tactics. This is an excellent class for beginners as well as experienced martial arts enthusiasts.
- Our next program will be starting January 5th.
- Registration is currently open.
- Cost is $60.00 for 12 classes.
- Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 6:30 pm.

Kajukenbo:
Kajukenbo is the hawaiian martial art that is a blend of Karate, Judo, Kenpo, and Boxing, from which it takes its name. Our Kajukenbo program is for all ages from youth to adult, and we offer both beginning and advanced classes.
- Registration is currently open.
- Cost is $20 per month.
- Classes are Wednesdays 6:30 pm Beg. & 7:30 pm Adv.
and Saturdays 12:00 pm Beg. & 1:00 pm Adv. - Location: YMCA main office.

Financial Assistance is available to assist families who qualify in managing the cost of program fees. Applications can be obtained from all West End YMCA branches.
