Incredible Edibles:

The original taste of the Inland Valley, Incredible Edibles took place Wednesday, Aug. 11 from 6:30-9 p.m. in Memorial Park immediately adjacent to the now-under-construction, full-service Scheu Family Y of Upland at the corner of Foothill Drive and Hospital Way in Upland. In its 10th year, Incredible Edibles was a feast for the eyes and the palate as more than 50 local restaurants, wineries, breweries and caterers rolled out their culinary specialties: steak to pizza, Persian to Mexican, this was a memorable feast. Sneak preview tours of the new Y were available to event attendees. Incredible Edibles is a fundraiser for Y programs and program scholarships. Individual tickets are $89; tables are $650 (a portion of which is tax-deductible). Complimentary valet parking. Call 909-946-6120 to purchase tickets.

Exciting live auction items included a wine-making event for 20; Newport harbor cruises on a private yacht; a cooking class for four by Chef Henry Gonzalez of Spaggi’s; a private Taste of Spain paella dinner prepared by local luminary Chef Loren, Palm Springs vacation get-away and more!
