Incredible Edibles:
The Scheu Family YMCA of Upland will be hosting our 10th annual Incredible Edibles event on Wednesday, August 11th 2010. Our past event also celebrated the groundbreaking on our new facility! New to the event was our complimentary valet service. We raised over $40,000 for programs, program scholoarships, and the development of our future home. We would like to thank everyone who joined us for our special evening of food and wine tasting, and be sure to join us again as we prepare for the exciting transition into our new facility!
Tickets: $89 per person ($99 at the door)
Tables: $650 per reserved table of eight.
The evening is for guests ages 21 and over.
Al Canestro “Swing for Kids” Golf Classic:
The Scheu Family YMCA of Upland hosted our 14th Annual Al Canestro “Swing for Kids” Golf Classic on Monday, May 17th, 2010. This year’s event was held at Red Hill Country Club in Rancho Cucamonga.
The Al Canestro “Swing for Kids” Golf Classic is a fundraiser for program enhancement and scholarships. Part of the mission of the YMCA is to never turn anyone away for the inability to pay. We want to thank everyone who participated in this annual event allowing us to provide quality programs for everyone in the community. Because of you, we are able to continue our mission of building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities with the $54,000 the tournament raised!
