Early Childhood Development Center (Preschool):
The Scheu Family YMCA of Upland Early Childhood Development Center has developed an innovative approach to early childhood learning. Our Certified teachers follow the child’s lead and appreciate each individual child’s unique learning style as tactiles, manipulatives, and creative exploratory learning is emphasized. Currently, the licensed preschool facility is equipped with two state-of-art buildings housing 5,000 square feet of classroom space, and is surrounded by 8,000 square feet of an environmentally friendly play area.
Below are pictures of our Mother’s Day Tea and Dance Class, as well as our Walk-A-Thon and Trike-A-Thon! These are just a few of the great events and programs our preschool students have enjoyed this year.
The rates for our ECDC Preschool are as follows (all rates are subject to change):
Morning Care Only (7:30 am – 12:30 pm)
$90.00 per week for 5 day care, $58.00 per week for 3 day care
Afternoon Care Only (12:30 pm – 5:30 pm)
$90.00 per week for 5 day care, $58.00 per week for 3 day care
Full Day Care (7:30 am – 5:30 pm)
$179.00 per week for 5 day care, $115.00 per week for 3 day care

Miscellaneous Fees
Potty Training Fee – $10.00 per week/per child

Financial Assistance is available to assist families who qualify in managing the cost of program fees. Applications can be obtained from all West End YMCA branches.
